Terms of Service

JustSchool is intended for schools and the people they authorize. To create a school account you must be an adult able to enter into an agreement and have authority to act for the school. Staff, students and parents use JustSchool only when a school gives them access.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
• A school is responsible for the people it authorizes, for giving each person an appropriate role, and for removing access that is no longer needed.
• Share student passwords with students securely.

You agree not to:

• use JustSchool for anything unlawful, or upload content you have no right to use;
• try to access another school's data or bypass access controls or security features;
• probe, scan or test the service for weaknesses without our written permission;
• interfere with or overload the service, or introduce malware;
• resell or provide the service to others outside your school without our agreement; or
• use the service to harass others or to store information you are not permitted to store.

Your school keeps ownership of the information it enters into JustSchool ("School Data"). You give JustSchool permission to host, process and display School Data only as needed to provide and secure the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of School Data, for having the notices and permissions needed for your students, staff and families, and for how your authorized users use JustSchool. See the Privacy Policy.

JustSchool is offered under the Pro, Business and Max plans. Prices, the Pro free trial, renewal and cancellation are set out in Billing & Cancellation, which forms part of these Terms.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. The features available to a school depend on its plan and subscription status.

You can stop using JustSchool at any time and cancel your subscription as described in Billing & Cancellation.

We may suspend or restrict access if these Terms are breached, if the law requires it, if a payment cannot be collected, or to protect the security of the service or of other users. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem, unless the situation is urgent.

We work to keep JustSchool available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Maintenance, outages and failures of third-party services can happen. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, so please keep your own copies of information you cannot afford to lose.

JustSchool, its software, design, name and branding belong to JustSchool or its licensors. While your subscription is active we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your school's own purposes. School Data remains yours.

We may improve, change or remove features over time. Where practical we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

To the extent permitted by law, JustSchool is provided without warranties of any kind, and JustSchool is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or revenue.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees your school paid for the service during the period to which the claim relates. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. For significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders. If you keep using JustSchool after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using JustSchool and cancel your subscription.

If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Billing & Cancellation terms, are the whole agreement between your school and JustSchool about the service.
